Starlight Pro Magnesium Chassis with Ultem Base

The Starlight Pro is engineered for precision and performance, featuring a magnesium chassis that ensures durability while keeping the weight incredibly light. Due to the complexities of the manufacturing process, the thickness of the magnesium chassis may vary slightly, resulting in individual mouse weights differing by up to ±2 grams. The final assembled weight, including the battery, feet, screws, and coating, is approximately 42 grams for the Small version and 47 grams for the Medium version.

The mouse’s base is made from Ultem, not magnesium, to ensure optimal wireless signal transmission. Although this material allows the signal to escape effectively, it is not as robust as the magnesium used in the rest of the chassis. As a result, the base should not be squeezed or subjected to strength tests like the sides or top.

Battery Life & Efficiency

Powered by a high-end rechargeable Jauch Lithium-Ion battery, the Starlight Pro offers impressive battery life. Continuous use can last around 160 hours, with average use extending battery life to around 3 weeks. For less frequent users, you may only need to charge every 7 weeks, and with idle usage, the battery could last up to 16+ weeks without needing a recharge.
